Delete Yourself from Scam DatabasesRight now, your personal information is listed on websites you've never heard of. These sites are run by data brokers, and they sell your information to marketers, insurers, and yes, scammers. Black Friday is high season for scammers, so now is a crucial time to protect your data. I use a service called Incogni that removes your personal data from these sites automatically. Incogni contacts the data brokers for you and forces them to delete your records. That's why I worked with Incogni to get a special discount for iPhone Life readers. Use code IPHONELIFE at checkout to save 55%. |

Why does my watch only charge to 80%? If your watch won’t charge over 80%, then you might have Optimized Charging enabled. To turn it off, open the Settings app on your Apple Watch and tap Battery. Scroll down and tap Battery Health. Tap the toggle next to Optimized Charge Limit or Optimized Battery Charging (depending on your Apple Watch model). Tap Turn Off. How do I turn on the volume on my Apple Watch during a call? Try scrolling up using the Digital Crown on your watch during the call. If you look at your screen, you will see a volume bar going up or down when you do this. Also, make sure you aren’t connected to any Bluetooth devices on your watch. Finally, sometimes it takes a bit for technology to figure things out, and when I call my husband, I’ll have to say hello several times until he can finally hear me. Delays and glitches do happen, unfortunately! What settings will keep my watch completely dark while charging overnight? Try turning off Nightstand Mode. Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch and tap General. Tap Nightstand Mode. Tap the toggle to turn off Nightstand Mode. Now, when you put your Apple Watch on its charger, it won't enter nightstand mode! | | No trade-offs. No compromises. Why do I need to input my password so often? Your watch will require you to unlock it every time it thinks you’ve taken it off your wrist. If it happens while you are wearing it, it means your watch band is too loose. If it keeps asking for your password, it is also having a hard time calculating all your vitals, so try to tighten your band and see if that helps! How do I reset my watch so the mileage and time are correct when I jog? Your watch can recalibrate if you turn on the run workout and run outside for 20+ minutes. Make sure to start a workout using the Workouts app; don’t just start running and hope your watch registers that you’re exercising. Also, make sure that you have your correct height and weight recorded in the Health app. | | No trade-offs. No compromises. Just switch — and experience the best network, best... |

Which Apple Watch models will give me oxygen level and heart alerts? The Apple Watch Series 6 and newer models (including all Ultras) will give you blood oxygen readings. For a while, there was a legal issue with Apple using a patented technology to measure blood oxygen, but if you update your watch to the latest software, you should be able to use the feature again. My Apple Watch is telling me my memory is full. How do I clear it out? Great question! There are a lot of ways you can free up Apple Watch storage, and we have an article that covers them all. You can remove apps that you don’t use on your watch, prevent your watch from automatically downloading every app you get on your phone, and delete or limit the photos or music that are saved to your watch.
