🌊🤿 DEEP DIVE: My Favorite Apple Watch Faces

My favorite way to customize my watch is by creating the perfect watch face. Every year, Apple comes out with new faces, including themed ones for Pride and Black History Month. Let me show you my favorite options from the current list, and we’ll go over who would benefit from a watch face like this.

Incogni automatically finds and removes your personal information from data broker sites before scammers can use it against...

Infograph Watch Face for Complications

For years, I preferred a one-size-fits-all watch face that had all of the complications I might need throughout the day. Infograph is my favorite watch face for this purpose because it offers eight complications and places them on the screen in a clean, aesthetically pleasing way. Using this watch face, you can see the steps you've taken, the battery life on your watch and phone, the temperature, the time in a different time zone, your heart rate, and then some! If you love to keep track of everything all at once, try Infograph out. It took me a while to decide which complications suit me best. At one point, I had two versions of Infograph: one was work- and productivity-related with Timers, Notes app, Voice Memos app, etc. The other was health- and fitness-focused.

Recycling phones keeps harmful electronics out of landfills. As an added bonus, your trade-in helps support initiatives like planting 50,000 trees. Your used phone can also become a new device—reducing mining, water use, and waste. Recycle your used phone today, and get paid to help the planet.

Photos Watch Face for Feeling Warm & Fuzzy

At some point, I got overwhelmed with all my complications, and I decided that I didn't want to see any at all! There are lots of options for time-only watch faces, but my favorite is the Photos face. There are many ways to customize this face, like picking a specific photo, a selected few photos to cycle through, and even an entire album. I like to have my Pets album used for my watch face, and I opt to see a different photo every time I tap on the screen, but you can have it change every hour or day instead. My one complaint is that my watch will pick maybe 10 to cycle through during the day, but it won't pick a brand new photo every single time, despite my Pets album having ample pictures to pick from.

Exactograph for the Perfect Timing

While I have never had a need for this personally, I've been frequently asked for the best watch face that shows seconds. Exactograph has some unique faces that show you every second that passes, making time-keeping a breeze! Personally, I find this watch face to be very intense, but I can see people who work as nurses benefiting from it.

Color for Fashion & Minimalism

If you like to be all matchy-matchy or super simple, the Color watch face shows just the time on a single-color background. I've used it to match whatever outfit I'm wearing. This watch face made me realize that you can have a simple black watch band and still have a colorful Apple Watch experience without spending the money or having to store a collection of bands.

World Time for Travelers & Time Zone Trackers

If you need to keep track of multiple time zones, try World Time. This watch face is not for the faint of heart. It lets you pick between digital and analog time in the center while showing you the time in virtually every time zone. You can also add up to four complications! While I happen to track two time zones that are not my own at any given time, I find this watch face too much and prefer to use the Infograph watch face and set each time zone as a complication.
